Marsha is recognized as a Registered Horticultural Therapist by the American Horticultural Therapy Association. Marsha developed her expertise as a student at Temple University and by working at Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital, where she utilized physical and occupational therapy modalities to restore patients’ cognitive skills. She also developed a lecture to educate about the adaptive tools that are available and proper body mechanics so gardeners can continue to do what they love.
Marsha provides horticultural therapy programming for senior living communities, floral design programs for the general public, and gardening and nature programs for children.
Currently Marsha is available for a consultation on establishing your own raised vegetable garden. She has designed and built such gardens for homeowners and schools. Contact Marsha today.
